K-3 Newsletter
                                         Mrs. MacIntyre

Dear Families,
June 10, 2016

Happy Friday! This will be my last newsletter.I am excited to watch the students move on to 1st grade but will truly miss this special group! We have learned so much about ourselves and each other. We have transitioned so easily into what will be the next 12 years of school for you and your child. I honestly feel so lucky to be a part of your child’s life and this important introduction to school.
My hope is that they have learned school is not a race to see who can reach a certain goal first or to see who does something the best. I hope that they have learned to be patient with themselves and others, that we all work and learn at our own pace and that to be a successful student and person we must work  and listen to each other. This class works so well together. They appreciate each other’s strengths and cheer each other on! I wish you all the best in your years ahead and of course know that if you ever have any questions or concerns just send me an e-mail and I am happy to help.
I am excited for you all to see how hard your child has been working for graduation.
Graduation is Tuesday, June 21st at 9:15. Our class will be on the right hand side of the stage if you are facing the stage. All family members are welcome. There will be bags at the bag of the multi-purpose room for your child. Please be sure to take it before you leave. We will all meet at Fort Wetherill after graduation. Please bring a picnic lunch, drink, lawn games, and chairs or blanket. There is not garbage cans at the park so please bring something to take your garbage home in. There are restrooms available.
The 4th grade Penny Carnival will be Thursday, June 16th. Please send your child with some pennies, nickels and dimes in a labeled bag.
If you have any reading books at home, please be sure to return them to me. I think I have most of them. If you are missing any clothing of your child’s, the lost and found box is completely full, send me a note and I can help your child look for the missing item.
Thank you again for your cooperation and support throughout the year!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Sincerely,

Mrs. MacIntyre
